Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish was born on the 18th of December 2001 in Los Angeles. Her parents are Maggy Baird and Patrick O’Connell. She has an older brother called Finneas who is also a famous music artist.

Childhood and family

At the age of eleven, she started trying to imitate her brother by singing songs. Before that she has been singing in a choir for three years. From her early childhood, Billie showed an outstanding tone of voice and great ability.

She was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at a young age. As for her other hobbies, she enjoyed dancing, however after a serious injury in 2016, she was forced to quit.

Billie’s family had many links with the sphere of acting and composition, her brother appeared in the Glee series, while her parents were in a film called “Life Inside Out”. Finneas soon joined a music band called “The Slightlys”. Over the whole course of her career, Billie received great amounts of support from her family and sibling, who helped her find out more about the niceties of composition and production.

Beginning of Billie Eilish’s career

At first, she had to self-teach herself the different styles of music, which allowed her to add more creativity into her own pieces. The first song Billie Eilish composed is called “Ocean Eyes” which was released in 2016 and soon became a popular hit.

The single led her to a contract with Danny Ruckasin, who from then and on became the manager of Billie’s music. The singer collaborated with “Darkroom and Interscope Records” and was successful in releasing another song called “Six Feet Under”. During the year 2017 many singles were released by the music artist, including a famous track “Bored”, which gained popularity after being used in a TV series “13 Reasons Why”.

Soon, in January 2018, Billie announced that she shall be making an international tour, during which she will be visiting several countries, such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland and others. She came back home by the end of the summer same year.

Her first album, however, was not released until 29^th of March 2019. The standard version of the album contains fourteen compositions which were produced with the help of Billie Eilish’s brother.

Latest works and projects

Lately, the artist has been working along the side of Takashi Murakami, a Japanese artist, with whom she designs clothes in the style of streetwear. The main products Billie focuses on are jumpers, hats, and t-shirts.

Billie Eilish managed to get into the Guinness Book of World Records as the “Youngest female at No.1 on UK albums chart” and “Most simultaneous US Hot 100 entries by a female” in the year 2020.

Most of her fans, the artist gained because of the emotional content and the new models she uses in her songs. She was included in the SOUND OF 2018 list due to her huge ability. It is due to her capacity to connect with the younger generation, that she has obtained the large number of followers.

Happier Than Ever

The latest album was released on 30^th of July 2021, under the name “Happier Than Ever”. It is Billie Eilish’s second disc, and the producer of the album was once again her brother.
